What is clean energy?

‘Clean energy’ means power generated from the elements – sun, wind, water (rivers, tides or wave power) and biofuels (gas released by rotting food and agricultural waste). Unlike dirty electricity generated by burning fossil fuels (oil, coal and gas), clean energy has little impact in terms of climate change and air pollution.

How does switching work?

It only takes 5-10 minutes to switch. Once you’ve answered a few questions about your current energy supply (it’s useful to have an old bill to hand,) you’ll be able to see all the green energy deals that we offer. If you see one you like, you can switch there and then. We have done the hard work for you – we vet all of the suppliers they work with to make sure their environmental credentials and customer service are up to scratch. Once you’ve switched, sit back and relax – there’s no need for engineers visit or anything like that.
